Greenhouse effect is a natural process that supports life on Earth. It keeps the temperature on Earth just right so the water on the surface can exist in liquid form and this supports life.
The increase of greenhouse gasses emitions during last hundred years caused by  industrialization and over population makes the Earth's atmosphere hold on to more heat received from the Sun than before. It can be very dengerous and cause:
– melting the polar ice caps
- increasing the global water level
- flooding
- changing the chemisrty of the ocean
In other words, increased greenhouse effect causes global warming and climate change!
Here we shall conduct an experiment that show the cases how one of the greenhouse gasses, the carbon-dioxide (CO2) can change the temperature of the air.
