Assessment of body composition is used in many fields of medicine, sports, biology, anthropology, military, forensic science, industry and other fields. Determination of body composition, particularly the representation of body fat is very actual nowdays. One of the methods for simple, non-invasive determination of the presence of body fat is bioelectrical impedance analysis, BIA. Based on the application of alternating current with a high frequency (50 kHz) and low intensity (800 μA), which is passed through the body by superficial electrodes. Electricity passes through the non-fat body mass easier and faster than through body fat mass. The accuracy of the method depends on the intake of food and beverages, physical activity, body position, phase of the menstrual cycle.

It is heard very often, during some sports matches, that reporter persuades its viewers, for an obvious good goalkeeper, that he has good reflexes. This is not really about good reflexes but about good reaction time. The reaction time is the shortest time that elapses between a stimulus and the reaction to that stimulus. The reaction time affects the complexity of the task and the individual characteristics of the respondents. Also, difference in the duration of the reaction time can be observed in the same respondent but in differen conditions, such as the quality of the stimulus, fatigue, consuming drugs which affect central nerves system, an alcohol, etc.
